

In between file/version updates, additional content that was included in a previous update file but not released immediately into the gameplay world can be released (usually weekly as part of an event week), a process commonly referred to as "drip-feeding". DLC updates can range from new clothing and vehicles to new features and game modes. The Test Track allows players to win a new car each week while trying out upcoming dripfeed vehicle DLC, and membership benefits also include the chance to buy a new Auto Shop. Certain title updates will feature new content, labelled as DLC updates. GTA Online: Los Santos Tuners - A major update bringing a new peaceful car meet location to Cypress Flats, LS Car Meet, featuring a Test Track and a bunch of vendors accessible to players paying for a membership.

Periodically, Rockstar Games will release Title Updates, also known as Patches, that will fix certain issues, glitches and exploits found within Grand Theft Auto V and in Grand Theft Auto Online that have been reported by the community or found by Rockstar Games themselves.
